Anorexia verses Models

Those are examples of models who normally represent beauty in the media while they are sick. The photographer is trying to address a message and see how viewers will interpret them. Those are not models those are sick girls who try to adress to the young audience a wrong message which is beauty equals being very thin (anorexic). Those are oppositional images because they reflect a problem that many girls are sufering from because of their low self esteem. While looking a those images I felt disgusting and also I felt sad about those young girls who think that their beauty depends on being very thin which is on reality being sick. Those visuals play a real role on adressing a message to the spectator in order to convince them about the real truth of those models and the real problems they realy hide.

Those girls that pretend to be models, when they see themselves in the mirror they believe that they are fat while it is not the case. The mirror reflect their body as it is, however, the mind of those girls can not see their real physical appearence, they see themselves as they imagined.
the Spectator see also a beautiful girl in this anorixic body.

As i was looking at these pictures i could barely keep my face normal..
But if we try to apply the self reflection concept here, we might say that these girls are more comfortable with their body as it is in the pictures. it is a sort of achievement for them
